Authorised Snowsports Schools
in Myoko Akakura
The following schools are official members of the Myoko Official School Alliance and are authorized to provide ski and snowboard lessons in the Myoko Akakura area.
Certified Member Schools
Member schools are certified by one of Japan’s governing bodies for snowsports instruction: SAJ (Ski Association of Japan), SIA (Professional Ski Instructors Association of Japan), or JSBA (Japan Snowboard Association).
These schools operate throughout the season with authorization from the ski resorts and form the Myoko Official School Alliance, a regional network built on long-standing trust, responsibility and cooperation.
Official member schools can also be identified by the Myoko Official School Alliance badge displayed on instructors’ uniforms.
To help ensure the quality and safety of lessons in the Myoko Akakura area, please use one of the certified member schools listed above when booking a lesson.
Beware of Unauthorised Snowsports Schools
Lesson activities in this area are permitted only for authorized and certified schools. Unauthorized commercial lesson activities by individuals or organizations are not permitted.
The same policy applies to overseas ski schools, travel agencies, tour operators and similar organizations, including cases where lessons are provided only to tour participants or an organization’s own customers.
To help maintain a safe and properly managed lesson environment, please make sure your lessons are booked through an official member school.
If unauthorized lesson activities are identified, the individuals or organizations involved may be required to cease those activities.
